Three fun things that have happened in the last month (always playing catch-up it seems)

Item #1: California Trip (about a month ago now... lol)

Words of Advice... If you can ever go to 6 Flags on Columbus Day... DO IT!  We rode the main attraction roller coasters 20 times in the space of 5 1/2 hours.  We rode X2, 4 times under an hour (which was an experience in and of itself), and we rode Goliath 3 consecutive times without ever having to get out of the cart.  However, it should be noted we also scheduled an appointment with Jason's Dad the very next day (who has his own Physical Therapy Practice) to have our body's worked on.  We realized we aren't as young as we used to be.

We found a cute little Cookie shop in Valencia that almost had my nickname (Lady D).... The owners probably wanted it to be named after me, but didn't want to risk copyright infringement. ;)
We had dinner at this AMAZING Pizza Place in Huntington Beach called "BJ's" with two of our favorite people (one of my close friends and her husband).

Oh yeah sweetie!  Ride That wave!

And now Jason post a surfing session... I am not a surfer, but rather a casual long boarder.  Jason CLAIMS that the never-ending nose running post surfing is common, and that it has a name.... "surfer's drip" .... however, I think I know better than to believe it is just salt water that has been enveloped in the inner turbinates of his nose, so I just smile and nod... but like I said before... I am not a surfer... so I guess I can't contradict his claim with undeviating confidence.

#2 Went to the Jazz Home Opener
We have discovered, that one of the benefits of living in a neighborhood where the average age is 65... is they have lots of connections (or money :) ).  A sweet elderly neighbor called us the night of the game to see if we would like to take her 5th row season tickets for the First Game of the Season because she didn't want to have to find parking. lol.  We were much obliged to take them off of her hands.

#3 Went to St George to see my family and my sister who just returned from Marine Bootcamp (that's a great story in and of itself when you have some time!)
It was so fun to see everyone and spend time together! It was especially great to see Jaimee!  She has really become such a mature and beautiful woman inside and out, and I loved hearing all of her stories (Although the stories made me even more convinced I could have never done the Marines.  I have come to the realization and finally accepted I just must be more of a "warm and fuzzy" type of person. lol).
To this day, I STILL do not know how my parents were able to raise 7 kids in our home without going crazy, and know I could never do it because I do not have the patience or the energy ... but it sure makes family get togethers fun!!!
