Exhibit K
I know what you are thinking... Exhibit K? Where are Exhibits A-J? Well, A-J were deleted after Jason learned a lesson in lighting: "Honey, if when you take the picture, you look at me and there is a big shadow down the middle of my face.... that means the photo will be captured with a big shadow down the middle of my face." Silly Boys....
In Jason's defense, he followed the rule of "thirds" in this picture without even realizing it. Good Work Sweetie! However, it may take some time before he will realize what types of things make for an aesthetically pleasing background worth capturing.... and my laptop is NOT one of those things. The following Photography Truths Taught after the taking of Exhibit K. Number 1: Don't just point and shoot. Capture things because you actually want in the picture. Yes you can crop, but why create extra work if it's not necessary? Number 2: Angle is everything. Make Your Subject Look good! LoL. The angle can make the face look better, it makes individuals look thinner (or heavier, depending!), etc.... Jason could tell which pictures looked better, but he honestly couldn't tell me the difference between photos when trying to vocalize it. Though he may not be able to verbalize the difference, I am hoping that with a little practice he will get better at simply capturing better images....Thus, we just resorted to taking a million pictures.
Exhibit ZZZ
So Above, we have exhibit ZZZ.... practice makes perfect.... As far as individual closeups are concerned: Isn't it much improved over Exhibit K? Good Job Sweetie! However... After hearing how to make multiple pictures "better" he may or may not have wanted to hold my hand on the drive home that evening..... but he got over it quickly :)And now this is Jason humoring me yet again................. I sure Love this guy!!!!!
You must have got the new lens. Rocky and I were trying to figure out where you took these photos.
ReplyDeleteWe took those pictures on Thanksgiving at Rhonda's (spelling?) house.
