Jason knew in advance that he was going to be in Baltimore for a Management Training (work) over my entire birthday week... so he knew some real thought would need to go into this year.
Day 1: Tuesday-Actual Birthday Day (July 10th)
I got a call from the Secretary at the front desk that I had a delivery. I came out and received these beauties :)
Day 2: Wednesday-July 11th
Another call from the secretary.... I received A "puppy" (stuffed) because I have been asking for one for a while now, Another Lily (because they are some of my very favorites), and a box of chocolates.
By this time... the ladies I work with were starting to get a little jealous.
Day 3: Thursday-July 12th
ANOTHER CALL FROM THE SECRETARY!!! This time it was a box of chocolates and a single red rose...... I thought the ladies were jealous before.... now they were just disgusted. haha.
Day 4: Friday-July 13th
No more special deliveries to the front desk...... but instead I had this baby delivered via FedEx to the house. It is a larger blender jar for my BlendTec.... twice the size of the previous one (as manifested by the picture). I am SO EXCITED because with the larger jar it is so much easier to make smoothies with whole, fresh fruit.
As cool as this present was, the best part of the day was that Jason came home (the 13th of July). I missed him!!!! He came home and then took me out to Olive and Ivy to celebrate my birthday (belated).
He definitely outdid himself this year..... but I am not complaining. Thank you sweetie for making my week as wonderful as it could be, given the circumstances that you were not around. I love you.

One of my good friends (Brooktynn) knew I would be alone for my birthday, so she took me out for Frozen Yogurt at ZoYo (one of our group's favorite places to go). So thoughtful, and a great end to my birthday...... Little did I know that was just the beginning.
