KIEV, UKRAINE!!--Я не говорю по-русски (I don't speak Russian) part 4

Kiev was not like the rest of our vacation. It was very short, and very relaxed.  The temple in Kiev, Ukraine was the temple used by Stefanie's mission. One of the areas in which she served had a temple trip planned, so we coordinated our visit to Kiev in order to overlap with this trip. It was a lot of fun to meet these people she had grown so close to, and also to spend the end of a very busy trip in the serenity of the temple.  Perfect finish to an Amazing Trip.

"McFoxy"---Ukraine version of McDonald's.  Similar Food, Right Next Door, and Significantly less wait when it's hot and you just want an ice cream cone. :)

Kvass (Ukraine's National Drink)---Alcohol Free.  It was purchased for us to try boy our Taxi Driver, so we fell like we needed to be courteous and at least take a swig.  Here's the DL on Kvass: Made with rotten bread.... smelled funny.... tasted gross (online said "bitter like beer that has gone flat", but I have no experience to confirm nor negate)....But when in Rome......
We figured it was about the "experience." However, I felt that I didn't have to drink the whole thing in order to experience Ukraine.... My cup is the one on the left that's only missing a few mLs. haha.

This bell began ringing while we walked around this religious center in downtown Kiev.... and was rung almost the whole time due to some announcement of religious services or something like that.  Lucky us.

3:20 am on 4/29/12 as we are in the Taxi driving to the airport.  Went to bed at 11:45pm on Saturday night.... not very excited about this.
25 hours later..... Still Traveling.  Now in Houston and waiting to board my flight to Phoenix.  Sunday 4/29/12 was the longest day of my life (35 hours, literally) with all of the flights, time zone hopping, knowing that I had an 8am patient on Monday morning at work....it left like the day that never ended. I can also attest that Monday 4/30 was a ROUGH day of work. I felt like I was trudging through mud and in slow motion all day long. People told me I was crazy for doing it, but I was afraid to ask for one more day off seeing as how I was a relatively new employee and didn't have much PTO (paid time off).
However.... One day of fatigue in order to experience Russia/Ukraine?  Totally worth it.
