Lessons already learned in 2012

1. Even if your wallet is in the bag immediately at your feet.... don't think someone isn't quick enough to snatch it out of your bag with all your credit/debit cards, costco membership, driver's license, frequent shoe buyer punch pass, and all the other goodies.... and spend $3000 dollars before you cancel everything. Yup. Sad, True Story.  Lesson Learned.
2. Don't think after not really running distance since your half marathon in the summer, that you can jump on the treadmill and run 6 miles and not feel it the next day. Ouch.  Lesson Learned.

3. Don't assume every Zumba and Yoga Instructor are as good as the others. Fitness Instructors are like many other professions:.... Just because they do it, doesn't mean they are great nor natural at it. Gotta Do your research. Lesson Learned.

4. Looks can be deceiving.  Don't assume that just because you chose the bike next to the person 3-4x your size in spin class, that you will look like less of an idiot.  You may find yourself being sorely disappointed.... and shown-up. Yikes.  Lesson Learned.

Can you tell I am trying to fill my evenings with Jason gone all the time?  Not to mention, with no credit, debit cards, or ID... the only thing I really can do is run over to the YMCA that's only 1 mile away and work out after work. Needless to say, between exercising and preparing all of our little meals at nights for the next day, If I am not in rocking shape by the end of this year... I don't know that I ever will be.

  1. We all wondered how your wallet was stolen. Such a bummer. You are learning lots of lessons so soon in the year.
