The Forgotten Halloween Post

You know that moment when you realize there was something fun you did you wanted to post about....and you forgot.... and then a little over a month passed by?  Just had that moment, but since this blog is my attempt at keeping a Journal, I'm going to insert it anyway :)

Jason and I were invited on Halloween Evening to go to Chipoltle with some darling friends (Collin and Kelsi Barber) of ours to get burritos which were SIGNIFICANTLY discounted for Halloween. They called us 15 minutes before and invited us, and then informed us of the catch........ We had to be dressed like something that could be associated with a farm in order to get the discount. In the past, this wouldn't have been a problem. We used to get super into dressing up, and have several costume "supplies" to pull from.... however since moving into our small little place, all of our costume supplies have been forced to remain in storage with limited access. Accordingly, we were running around frantically, and this is what we came up with in the course of 15 minutes.

Felt, Headband, hot glue gun, and a little tape.... did wonders.

Bunny Ears, and eye liner. Done, and Done. And yes...still wearing my scrubs from work.....
It was SUPER fun..... until 3/4 of us woke up with food poisoning the next morning from the Guacamole. DOH! I have a really strong stomach and don't throw up, but Jason was throwing up (as well as the others) for two days! Yuck. The ironic thing, is where their guacamole is an extra charge of a few dollars, we may not have been so liberal and ordered it had the burritos not been so cheap for Halloween.... Doh! Oh well..... Still was a fun night, though the morning after was rough. I guess we "partied" a little too hard and got a little too crazy at Chipoltle with our Guacamole :)

  1. I'm not sure a bunny really counts as an animal associated with a farm...If it's not on Charlotte's Web, no-go. I will just pretend you are a rat.
