A Sneak Preview of the Phoenicians' pictures

NOW I am beginning to understand why people live in Phoenix. Actually, I guess I began to understand the beginning of October when the weather went from hot to beautiful.... and now in the end of November when it is still beautiful with an average daily high of mid to high 70's....mmmm... I could get used to winter's like these. Though I LOVE snowboarding/sledding/and hot chocolate.... I hate scrapping car windows and driving in the snow. Accordingly, our current situation is perfect: Spend The christmas holiday in Salt lake city, ski/snowboard/sled with family to our hearts' content... then return to temperatures in the MAYBE 60's(in January). Perfection.

We woke up super early for good light and were taking these pictures in the seven o'clock hour, with no jackets.... Like I said before.... Per... well, you can finish the word because I think you get the idea by this point ;). 

ANYWAY.  So the pictures we took, were done by a good friend of mine who happened to be in town (and her website is located here). I told her that I wanted some pictures that were more "artsy" and not just a traditional "smile at the camera", because we have so many great ones of those from our wedding/engagement pictures, and because we don't have cute little kid faces to add to the pictures... I don't want to have more pictures on the wall of just our faces. Accordingly, I wanted pictures that were just as much about the scenery and the fun colors we were wearing as it was about us. We took over 500 pictures yesterday, but she sent me a handful (and I will get the rest in a few weeks). Here is a sneak peek of a few she sent me.
