Frustrations of Growing Up

Searching for my first job out of Grad School has proven to be very frustrating... but only for the one job I REALLY want.
For example:
- I applied the end of January, and the 2nd of February they told me to wait for an interview.
- The 11th of March I still had not heard anything, so I happened to be in Phoenix. I walked through security, smiling and waving as I pushed through the double doors (acting like I was an employee), and walked into the director's office, Unannounced, and told her I was there to follow up and would like to know when she was going to schedule my interview.  2 weeks was her response
- 2 weeks later, I got an interview scheduled as promised (beginning of March)
- Following my interview, I get an email Requesting VFSS (videofluroscopic swallow study) evaluations with all PHI removed. I feel like and over achiever and send 3 of them, expecting to receive praise. Instead they tell me they would now like a FEES report, A Cognitive Evaluation, A Language Evaluation, and they will not make their final decision until the end of the Month (of April).

I can't remember a time BEFORE I was trying to get an answer from this facility. lol. Curse being a new grad with limited experience... just a lot of confidence. lol. Curse the fact I turned down two other jobs because I felt like this one was going to work out. Wa-Wa. I guess I'll just keep praying that things work out as they should!
