Washington DC Temple (Ohio/D.C. Excursion: Blog #4)

Jason's Grandpa was the Visitor's Center Director for a few years in the early 90's, so it was really cool to go to the visitor's center and see traditions he and his wife had started which were still in place.... Not to mention the Washington, D.C. Temple is GORGEOUS. It is a unique temple, and it is totally surrounded by it's own little "forest" (i.e. tons of beautiful trees and flowers all around the property). I am really glad we were able to go there quickly, even though we didn't have enough time to do a session.

The lighting was so perfect when we were walking around.... I just had to capture it :)

Perfect Jason... thank you for closing your eyes in one of the few pictures we have together... :)
Speaking of pictures together, something I have realized that is frustrating about having a nice camera, is finding someone to take a picture of you together (so that all of the pictures aren't of only one of us). However, this lady did a pretty good job!  Better than the way some of the other ones have turned out... lol. What I found myself doing through the rest of the trip, was looking for people who had really nice cameras, and then asking THOSE people to take pictures on my camera.... even then, some were better than others. I guess that's the way it is with even the work of professional photographers though... some are better than others;).
