I Heart California

Jason and I were blessed to leave the Never ending Summer Weather of Phoenix with every day over 100 degrees to spend Labor Day weekend in California. We were so excited to get out of the heat.....however It was funny because we arrived around 930pm and the first thing we said to each other was: "Brrrrr! It's cold here..." and then pulled out our sweatshirts!  Who would have thought the day would come when we thought 70 degrees was cold? lol. I guess we are starting to adjust to the Phoenix heat after all... Though by no means are the temperatures over 100 "comfortable" by any means!  After the initial "shock", we LOVED the California weather over the next several days (when the sun was out :) )..... and when the sun wasn't out, we LOVED sleeping with the windows open, cuddled up in our comforter. Open windows hasn't happened since March for the Phoenix dwellers.  Not to mention, I loved being able to cuddle. Jason's body is like a furnace when he sleeps, so I think this is honestly the first time since I moved to Phoenix in May that we have been able to sleep within two feet of each other. lol. Someday when we are both wealthy and successful..... Maybe THEN we will be able to afford a moderate lifestyle in California.  In the mean time, we will look forward to get-aways whenever we can arrange our schedule for them them to spend time in the beautiful weather with our dear friends and family members!!!!!
