Go-Karting

A little while ago, Jason and I went to an indoor speedtrack. This was kind of a big deal, because we did the same thing on our first "official date." On our first date, Jason spanked me in best lap time, but I won overall.  So naturally this whole time I thought I won because I was the best... :). Jason informed me on our way to the same racetrack (3 years later) that he had "let" me win and was going to take back the title. I thought "Oh Really?  Bring it."
      Synopsis:  Jason was shocked. I took Best lap time, and overall race, and he NEVER DID catch me. YES!  VICTORY!  ...... However, part of me feels a little bad because Jason was pretty frustrated after the race. He couldn't figure out how my driving had improved so much in the last 3 years when we hadn't been to the race track in between. I informed him, maybe he wasn't the only one who wasn't actually trying last time....... But the Truth of the matter is, the time before was my first time of a speedtrack.  So Maybe I had jumped over the learning curve for my second Time?.... Or maybe watching Fast and Furious actually paid off! ....... Or maybe over the past three years, I have just had dreams like the guy in the Chevy Camaro commercial below :)
    
Regardless, somehow I pulled through.... In Jason's defense (or what he claims to be his defense) I am lighter so my cart could pick up faster after turns.  Which may be valid....though let's just not go there for the time being and allow me to bask in my victory.
